Description: The first UK restaurant to be awarded one, two, and then three Michelin stars, Le Gavroche remains a class apart. Since opening in 1967, this Mayfair bastion of French cuisine has been very much a family affair, and chef-patron Michel Roux Jr continues the tradition today. The elegance of the menu and the ambience is impeccably tailored, while the discreet service has won its own plaudits.

On entering the restaurant down the stairs it has an intimate feel very welcoming the menu was wonderful and Michele came to introduce himself which was a great touch... More

There simply is no better restaurant in the world. The cooking, the service, the history. Nothing compares!

This was one of the most incredible restaurants I have been to - every mouthful is an explosion of flavours that you don't want to go away. The service was impeccable, the cheese cart is huge! If I could eat here every week then I would for sure.

Been there a couple times and ''perfection'' is the word which describes them. Taste is great and the service is quick and successful. Hoping to be there with my wife soon...

We went for the tasting menu with matching glasses of wine. Hard to fault anything and who am I to do so anyway. What I will say is that it was a truly frustrating and annoying process trying to book our table and they need to improve their system. To be honest, when we turned up I actually thought I'd... More

Went with family for my birthday. Service was like nothing I have ever experienced, truly amazing and special. Food was fantastic, clever, exciting, if at points also incredibly rich. It was very expensive but worth it. Highlights included a beautiful banana soufflé, the wine suggested by the sommelier, some amazing rabbit, squishy big scallops and the brandy trolley!

An amazing experience, the menu exceptionnel was just that! Have it with the chosen wines and its fantastic, don't worry when you try the first wine, it's definitely not a full glass, but by the end of the night, you are full and very tipsy!
