When this place first opened it was great, but for the last five or six years we've always either been disappointed by the food (particularly the stingy badly cooked vegetables and potatoes if not the fish itself), the surly service or the value for money. I have eaten at Loch Fyne twice in the past few months and both times the service, food, atmosphere and price have been great! The mussels are to die for!! Would highly reccomend this for a dressy saturday evening meal! more

This is not your typical Loch Fyne restaurant. Have visited twice over the years and on first occasion mussels were mostly unopen suggesting they were not fresh.
