4 of us dined. fairly late at 9.30pm.1 starter excellent 2 OK and one sent back. Main course venison (3 out of thre of us orderde it) was too rare for everyone. We were recommended this restuarant via TA and we were not let down. Although we turned up without a booking, we were very early in the evening and managed to get a table, others arrriving later were turned away. Lovely ambiance, great staff and a most enjoyable meal. Don't miss this tucked away gem in Norwich. 10/10 more
The menu had a good selection. Food was great. Service was quick and friendly. Took our 5 year old daughter with us, they made something for her from the menu. Although the restaurant is more suited to adults. Good wine selection as the restaurant name would suggest.. We will go back again. more
We went as a lunchtime party of nine to celebrate a wedding. Great service, lovely place; the sort of local bistro/wine bar you dream about but rarely find. Really good fresh ingredients, simply cooked where appropriate (steak frites, liver and bacon with mash) or more imaginative dishes cooked with flair. I went to The Last Wine Bar last Friday and I will not be going back. The food was nothing special and our mains came out cold. more
Yes I would concur with the previous reviews. The food is very good rather than outstanding but the main attraction I think is the very warm and informal welcome and atmosphere. Thought I would add my view of the Last Wine bar. We have been going to the Last for about 5 years and every visit is just as brilliant as the last one. In the 5 years we have been going to the Last we have not had a bad meal or anything. It is always friendly and just smells... more
Read the review on Tripadvisor and the restaurant lived up to the reviews. Great location close to theatre. Lovely menu choice and huge wine list. I have to admit, I have found some nice places in Norwich, not amazing nice, but I have to admit this place is the best place I have ever been to in Norwich, the service was excellent, the food was delicious and the wine was to die for, such a great selection, this place most certainly deserves its place as... more
