Excellent, friendly service. Fish and chips were perfect. Don't miss the mushy peas, taste homemade and not experienced that flavour since I tasted them as a child. The smaller sized portions were as much as my husband and I could eat, very generous. More

Food was amazing, haddock, chips and mushy peas. Just amazing. Tea was great, Yorkshire tea which on a cold day does the trick. It's the fish which is the difference, it's about an inch thick, whereas other places it's half the thickness. The chips are cooked in beef dripping (I think) which might not be great for the diet, but... More

This is such a lovely place to eat, had a regular Haddock and Chips with a warming pot of tea. Everything was great, shame they forgot to bring my Mushy Peas with my order but still tried to charge me for them. O well, mistakes happen. They corrected my bill when I pointed out their mistake. More

Never realised there were so many different fish you can eat but also the way it is prepared.. healthy or not you can choose fresh yummy veg or the traditional chips which we all are guilty off. Try the mushy... More

We went to the Take-Away - Queue was to long for the restaurant and wasnt going to wait for fish and chips!! Fish was cooked when ordered and was lovely, couldnt fault this! Chips was nice even though a little greasy. Expensive though for four fish and chips it came to £28!! I think you pay extra for the packaging... More
