Great, great food. Really busy, but having been up here before, I had booked in advance and so avoided the constant queues outside (another good sign of a restaurant if people want to queue in the rain). Had the Halibut and it was wonderful. Great fish and chips, a must place to go. more

We travel to Whitby every year to visit the Magpie. It really is worth queuing for! If you love your fish and seafood you will adore this restaurant.
