22nd June 2009 Its the best Fish and Chips we've ever tasted, but felt we wished we hadn't asked the waitress for a) a highchair b) tartare sauce and c) food. Everyone says you must have fish & chips while in Whitby but this is a big problem if you can't eat food that contains flour - no battered fish! But wait, great news for all coeliacs - the Quayside serve the most wonderful crispy gluten free battered fish!!! My husband had haddock, chips & mushy peas for the first time... more
