Been here for late breakfast with the papers, lunch and dinner and can't fault it. The toilets are a bit a of a squeeze, but the food is great, lovely place so convenient for the centre of York. Much better than the mass produced pub grub prepared for the tourists more

The food here was good and very generous. If anything the portions were too large (and we don't have small appetites). Starters and mains very varied and interesting including good veggie options - puddings mostly cakes and not so exciting but great for tea during the day I would have thought. Polite friendly staff. Interesting reasonably priced wines. more

Simply put Cafe Concerto, on the doorstep of York Minster, is my favourite restaurant in the world. The food is divine. Both twists on classic British favourites and interesting new dishes. We just had coffee and a sandwich and both were good, the service was fast and efficient. I think they charge more because they are near the Minster but unless you get the seat at the window you won't see it. more
