We visited this restaurant this weekend while in York on holiday. Excellent food, service and wine. The ambience is lovely and the specials boards are definitely worth a look. We really would struggle to fault the place - perhaps slightly bigger sweet portions :) If you're looking for great Italian food - could heartily recommend. more

don't be fooled by the modest facade of this cracking restaurant! the entrance is not promising but downstairs this is an intimate, authentic italian restaurant offering delicious food. The staff were attentive and helpful but not obtrusive, portions were huge and I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.
