We have eaten at Memsaab on many occasions. What a wonderful alternative to the usual homogenous formula that most Indian restaurants usually serve up. Myself and my husband love indian cuisine so were excited to try this restaurant boy we were dissapointed the food was average, staff were unhelpful and the bill a joke!! yet there was not a spare table in the whole place!! we just did not get it! try the Banyan Tree on the way into Notts leaves this one standing... more
India is a big place. Lots of different styles of cooking. The food at this restaurant doesn't taste 'authentic'. (Note for management: If the food is staying true to a specific region of India - pick a different region with better tasting food! WE recently revisited the memsaab in Nott for my husband's birthday and had to take our 2 children (aged 4 and 2) with us. The staff could not have been more welcoming to our daughters.
