Browns is a fantastic group of restaurants, but the one in Oxford is my fav! Such a great location in town, fantastic vibe. The food has consistantly been impressive and the service is always smooth and professional. Great place for boozy lunches with lots of wine with friends or romantic evenings. Love it. more

I've eaten at Brown's three times. The food has always been so-so, the cocktails are 90% ice, and the restaurant itself is often so noisy at dinner that you can't hear the people at your own table. On my fourth attempt, on a Wednesday evening, I ordered and waited for 70 minutes before I just gave up and went home.... more

Been a fan of Brown's for 25 years or more. Always been a favourite, hadn't been for a while & decided to give it a try over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend. Went on the Saturday evening, didn't book-well you still can't after 7.00 pm & there was the inevitable 45 minute wait. The wait is still worthwhile even... more

Had a lovely time at Browns at lunchtime on Saturday. We all ended up with duck - which was really nice. It slid down a treat! The puddings were also completely devoured and tasted good. The service was good and were thankful for booking a table as it gets very busy on a Saturday lunchtime. more
