Raymond Blanc has developed a strong brand for himself over 20-odd years centred around the Manoir Quat' Saisons. We booked a garden room for the night and a table at the restaurant with a price tag of £800+ for two, on the cheaper end of available deals. Nonethess at this price our expectations were somewhat high. Not to make a... more

Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! This was dining at a completely different level from what most of us ever even dream about - and yet it was completely deicious and marvellous. We had booked for a special birthday, and were greeted on arrival by one of the (seemingly!) scores of staff who were around: escorted to the lounge where menus were... more

Probably my second best restaurant experience of all time, just pipped to it by the incomparable Eugenie Les Bains. Stunning attention to detail, personal service and exquisite food - all in a delightful environment of comfort, log fires and french sophistication. The £95 Saturday lunch menu was a real joy - light but tasty, and full of unusual surprises that... more

A big night out to celebrate a special occasion and we were not disappointed. The 10 course menu was exceptional in both appearance and taste, not too much and not too little (except that we couldn't fit in the extra cheese course, which was a shame). Service was perfect, attentive without being obsequious. Just a pity it was raining so... more

We stayed at this hotel recently for my 50th birthday and had dinner in the restaurant. We chose the a la carte menu and the food was amazing. The service is impeccable, although sometimes the strong French accents are rather difficult to decipher. The cheese trolley in particular is impressive, and the staff love explaining about the different cheeses and... more

We booked this venue several months ago and arrived on a sunny and warm Friday 5th June for lunch. After pre lunch drinks in the garden we went to the conservatory for lunch. The ambience, staff and service were perfect but the food lacked that WOW factor we had expected. Having eaten at Gorden Ramsays at Claridges and a 2... more

Like many people I booked Le Manoir for a special occasion, looked forward to it for months and put my faith in Monsieur Blanc's television catchphrase "you must delight the customer". I was indeed delighted by the outside: a wonderful old manor house set in carefully tended gardens. The sun shone and a pre-lunch stroll in the gardens was very... more

I took my partner to Le Manoir for his 50th Birthday. When booking I was asked if it was a special occasion and we were greeted with Happy Birthday messages from the staff and with a little plaque on the petit fours with our coffee - a very nice touch. We chose the Decouverte menu of 10 courses, all of... more
