There is irony in the restaurant name since my portion of risotto, though pleasant ,was very small. I had to ask for more! And £14.40 for two glasses of wine? Come off it. You can eat just as well, and more cheaply, at similar establishments in Sheffield city centre. I shall not be returning. more
Two adult and two kids we went for a birthday meal while visiting sheffield we had some garlic bread, olives and bread and a mixed starter between us then dh ordered fizzy prossecco wine as a celebration and it was £26.00. Situated right in the heart of Sheffield, popular and always busy and deservedly so. Great food, good service with a smile, great amosphere and good value for money. Could not ask for much more. Thank you. more
I've been to Piccolinos twice and have to say I really quite enjoyed it! Have been in a few times before for celebrations etc., , but popped in today for a late lunch. it was quiet, as the main lunch clientele had gone, but the food was wonderful, £10 for a main of the lunch menu and a glass of house wine.... which was rather good! Myself and partner went for a meal here on a Friday night. I had an excellent experience at a Piccolino in Leeds, so was happy to have one open right in the heart of Sheffield. Their £10 lunch time menu is pretty good and overall their menu offers a lot of choice. I wasn't blown away by their pasta dishes, but their pizzas are absolutely excellent - and so are the home... more
