My husband and I came here in November - our second visit to the Firehouse Rotisserie. The food was really superb. I had the sea bass and it was the best meal I have had ever. My husband had the slow cooked lamb with spices which was also great. The staff are lovely and we watched another customer being extremely... more

We were recommended here from the owners of the B&B that we were staying in and were not disapointed. It was really busy and had a great atmosphere. All staff were friendly and professional and you can even see the chefs as they work on your meal. The goats cheese fondue was probably the best starter we have ever had... more

I came here for a celebratory works night out. We paid through the nose so expected something great. Unfortunately the staff were not polite to us, and did not attend to us very well at all despite us being a large group. The food was acceptable, but no where near great. One of my colleagues food was appalling and I... more

This place is usually very busy, a good sign that it's good and popular, eventhough it is slightly more pricey than a lot of other restaurants nearby, but the food is worth it. I went here mainly for the steak and they cook it properly here, much better than other usual restaurants, like the chains. Everyone really enjoyed their meals... more

We had a bruschetta to share which was delectable and then the chicken and a pizza for the mains. Both were sizeable and delicious. Atmosphere very relaxed and they got us a decent table even though we had no reservation on a busy Saturday night. Very friendly service and great location next to Salamander where we went for some ales... more

Enjoyed a meal here on a Saturday night. Managed to get in without a booking but only had a limited time at our table. That didn't matter though as our order arrived quickly. Tasty and interesting dishes, would recommend this place for a meal. more

If I had eaten here having stumbled upon it and opted for a pizza and glass of wine perhaps I'd be more impressed but I booked in advance as I wanted somewhere nice, of good quality and consequently was disappointed. The tables for 2 are too close together - the menu very limited and the food was ok but nothing... more

Firehouse is one of those reliable places that won't let you down. I've visited on many occasions over the past few years and thought following last Saturdays most recent visit I should finally put a review on here! The food and wine list is great and although not cheap you don't come away disappointed. The Chicken dish someone has already... more

This is not a relly posh place but it sure does serve goooood food. The staff were very friendly and it had a nice atmosphere. We both had chicken with a bbq sauce and jalapeno coleslaw with spicey fries. Te chicken was tasty and moist and the coleslaw was creamy with a little kick and the fries were ............. spicey.... more
