We visited The Bathtub Bistro after reading reviews on TripAdvisor and were not disappointed. It doesn't look much from the outside but the unusual layout means there are several small room with a few tables in each, ours had a lovely real flame fire, on a freezing night this resulted in a lovely cosey room. The menu is varied, we... more

Recently visited Bath and booked this restaurant for a small group of 8 of us. I must admit that you could very easily walk by this restaurant - but do not!! We had the most fantastic meal - really generous portions and great service as well. We were downstairs in front of the fireplace. The Christmas decor made the atmosphere... more

I enjoyed an absolutely delicious meal at the Bathtub. My mum and I chose a 2 course menu, having starters and mains (duck pate and chicken wings to start and then sea bass for the mains). It was so nice that despite being already full, we ordered deserts as well! The strawberries were lovely, with a thick chocolate sauce for... more

At first i wasnt sure about this place as needed substance and thought it was a small deli type place. My god I had the most fabulous burger I have ever eaten and can never go back to a normal burger again, HOME MADE is what it was and the presentation was excellent. We dined the four of us after... more

We found this restaurant by chance on our weekend in Bath, loved the name & thought it was a quirky little place to eat, so booked up for an evening meal. The food was fantastic & reasonably priced, all three of us had diffferent starters & main courses (we were too full for pudding) & we couldn't find fault with... more

This was a lovely wee place with really friendly staff. The food was absolutely terrific and the portions really generous. I just had the main cource of steak and was left absolutely full. One constructive tip I coud offer is that it might be worth providing paper towels (or similar) in the toilet. I'm not overly fussy about these things... more

We popped in here one evening as it's very close to my boyfriend's home. We had often walked past and thought it somewhere we had to try. We did and were disappointed. My food was average at best, and the atmosphere was non-existent. This was in March, but even so it was a Saturday night. I was also quite shocked... more
