Loved this place. Welcome and service were so friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere with lots of varied groups of people - clearly a popular choice. Food was delicious - deeply spiced but not too harsh or hot. They advised a couple of mains, a vegetable dish, some rice and dhal for 2 of us and that was fine. Meant we... more

This was our first visit to Yak Yeti Yak despite many trips to Bath. This restaurant is like a well kept secret hidden in the basement of the buildings of Pierrepoint St. We found the staff to be really lovely and friendly. The food was simple but really good and did not contain all the food colourings and cream you... more

Our second visit to Yak Yeti Yak, although our first to their new location at Pierrepoint Street. We found the service and food just as exceptional as previously, although the new restaurant lacks some of the character of the old venue, which was a more irregular space so made it easier to imagine you were in the Himalaya rather than... more

Good food, well priced in a city where eating out is overpriced in general. I hadn't had Nepalese food before and it was an interesting and pleasant experience. If you look at where Nepal is on a map you'll see why the food is as it is, an indescribable mixture of Indian and Chinese flavours. Don't be fooled by the... more

Having enjoyed the local food in Nepal we were pleased to find that it does live up to its claim of authenticity. Generous portions and very good value for money. Nice casual, relaxed atmosphere. more

The food was outstanding! Very well spiced, a great introduction to Nepalese food. Highlight of the meal was a beautiful saffron yogart dessert. It was a Sunday evening when we visited and it was pretty quiet, there were only two tables to serve so the service was pretty good. However as it was quiet the amosphere wasn't buzzzing, but still... more

Visited Yak Yeti Yak on recommendation from the Bath Guest House Association. A great find! The food was delicious and the service warm and friendly. I've never tried Nepalese food before, but will definately do so again and would recommend Yak Yeti Yak to anyone visiting Bath. Lovely food, good atmosphere and very good value for money. more

Very much worth a trip here. I wasn't familiar with Nepalese cooking, so wasn't quite sure what I was ordering, but it was GOOD. [Would probably be helpful if they had an explanation on the items on the menu.] The flavors were subtle yet complex. An adept use of spices here. There is obviously somebody very skilled in the kitchen.... more

A charming and unusual restaurant with friendly, if dodgy, service, and minimalistic portions. When we arrived at the restaurant, we had booked a table for a specific time, but were told that the table wasn't yet ready, because it was already occupied by others, and they had not yet left. It took about 15 minutes to get to the table,... more
