Huge fan of Italian food so been to most restaurants in jesmond, newcastle and surrounding areas, but Sale Pepe by far the nicest and friendliest...always welcomed with a smile, fast and efficient service, great food and always a great night keep up the good work lads more
I have been going to sale pepe for many years the food is amazing especially the melenzane for starter u have to try and Mmmmm the penne alforno is delicious too making my mouth water as i type hehe....fab cheap prices house wine is great too Sale Pepe my little 2nd home U all have to try or your missing... more
Been twice and took a collegue last night who was very impressed. During the week they have a "happy hour" on pizza and beers. You can have 3 courses, couple of beers and have change of £20. more

Cosy, busy Italian restaurant to the north end of Jesmond. Very popular with locals and visitors alike. A good choice on the menu and a very good "happy hour" from Monday to Thursday (2 starters, 2 pizza/pasta, couple of drinks each and 2 coffees normally about £25).
