Every Friday Merchants offers a locally reared Ettington 6oz rump steak, purchased from Becks butchers of Kenilworth. The meat is reared on a farm owned by the Alan, the butcher's Dad. Went there last night and enjoyed a romantic meal for two in relaxed and friendly atmosphere, staff were friendly as usual. Menu has changed recently and im not 100% sure its as good picking from the board instead of the table menu but the food was very nice and not too expensive. We had a super meal...fresh food, beautifully served and not ridiculously priced, from a varied, exciting menu in contemporary yet homely surroundings. Warwick is a beautiful town and a meal here sets things off nicely...we will be back! More

Small, interesting restaurant in the heart of Warwick. Good menu, including a £5 meal the night we were there (had sold out and I took that as a good thing). Ordered the chicken with leek and it was very good. Ribs looked tasty also. Definitely worth a second visit! More

Called in here on a recent trip to Warwick Castle, Had the £5 daily special which was a burger and my wife had soup. Food was good, service good and the ambience was nice and relaxing. Would certainly return and would not hesitate to recommend, give it a try you will not regret it Danny More
