Took my girlfriend here for some food. Food was poor. Lasagne didn't taste anything like any lasagna id ever tasted, and the American hot was too thin and far from hot. Will never come back.
Ordered 3 adult & 1 child pizza meal with drinks, good quick service from pleasant and courteous staff. Staff attentive, but not in your face, and don't pressurise you to hurry your meal.
We visit this restaurant weekly - the food is really fresh and staff are friendly. Great for couples, have been as a large group in the week and they were too busy to cope with this.
Our table for 6 was ready as we reserved and we were allowed to move to a circular one nearby to converse more easily as we're meeting up with our family. The food did take a while to arrive but we all enjoyed our choices and there were some nice deserts. Although we did have to rush thereto get to... More
Nipped in for a quick dinner on a quiet Friday evening. Waiter was very friendly and helpful. We were taking advantage of the 3 courses for £12.95 which was a good deal. The only thing stopping me giving this a 4 star review is that they served my "Pollo ad astra" sans "pollo". Bit of a huge thing to miss... More
Often we stopped by this Pizza Express after some shows at Royal Opera House. It is reasonably priced and open late so we can have quick dinner. I wish they have more past menu but it is an pizzeria in the end of the day. Staff here are usually friendly so you can chill easily.
Girlfriend and I enjoyed a dough ball starter but considering what these are was expensive however tasty. The accompanying butter works well with the dough. For mains I had a calzone filled with salami, sausage, fennel, onions and peppers. This was tasty and well seasoned. She had a Parma ham blue cheese pizza which was nice, thin crispy base and... More
We were very pleasantly surprised by the peaceful surroundings of this Pizza Express. The food was of the usual P.E. quality but the setting in the shadow of Coventry Cathedral was exceptional, especially since we were able to eat outside with only the noise of a couple of pidgeons and the church bells to disturb the tranquility. The only negative... More
You know what you are getting. It is a nice setting in old Coventry, however the bar near it insists on blaring music out so go early.
This is a good chain pizza place. Gluten free options. OK wine options. Friendly staff. Right next door to the Premier Inn Hotel if you stay there.
