My friends and I spent a memorable night in Mulberry Cottage. We were rescued from a wet holiday, the cottage was beautiful, the staff welcoming and helpful and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel I will be returning with my husband.

I have been to this gastropub on many occasions and it is always good, but the latest visit a few days ago was something really special. The meal was the best I have had in any pub and on a par with what you would expect in a top restaurant. The chef is not afraid to try different flavour combinations... More

Be very careful here....dinner for 4 almost £300 (house champagne with their service charge at over £50!!!)...forget it...it is a rip off in my view...ok nice food ('ish) but really not special. They are truly poite but then again to get away with the overpricing you have to be polite. There are many better places at less than half the... More

We had a meal here for my son's 21st birthday and cannot fault the evening. From the initial welcome we were made to feel special. The food, although pricey, was superb, the service fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere is cosy and initmate, every table was fully occupied so I would recommend booking for dinner. We will definitely... More

We have been to this pub/restaurant several times now whilst visiting Goodwood. The room to ask for is No. 5 as this has a 6' bed and lots of space (although I think it costs a little more than some of the other rooms). Food and staff are always good and breakfast excellent. Its only five minutes away from the... More

We moved into the area recently and have been in a couple of times. Can't complain about the food, which is of good quality and needs to be as the price is of a level you expect above average cuisine. I'd like to see a slightly more varied menu or choice. The main complaint I have is the venue itself,... More

We are always excited to go for diner at the Royal Oak. The mix of real ales, the extensive wine list and creative menu never fail to disappoint, and we always want to go back for more! There is a cosy atmosphere which makes for an intimate dining experience which is great for those romantic dinners for two. The laid... More

Visiting the area we were recommended The Royal Oak for dinner on our first night and were so glad we were able to get a table as the staff were friendly and attentive and the owner was clearly very knowledgeable as well as passionate about the food and wanted us to get the most out of our dining experience. The... More

My friend and I ate here on a rainy Saturday lunchtime. We chose to eat from the set menu. The food was excellent as was the presentation. We were not at all rushed and the staff were very helpful with making menu choices. I would definitely return again.

This was our 2nd visit to the restaurant, great food cooked perfectly in a relaxed welcoming enviroment. Service is spot on, this place takes its food and customers seriously but dose it with a since of fun and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. We will be back!
