My husband and I ate here and shared crab and mussels, 4 hours later we both had the most severe, chronic food posoning! We were in the middle of a holiday and spent 2 days in bed vomiting and diarrohea! Called the owner Mr Alan McCloud to inform him and was fobbed off with 'that's a serious allegation you're making',... more

We visited Ee-Usk as a special treat as we had just gotten engaged that day in Banchory. We found the food awesome, the service great, and the view beautiful. We both had the Lobster entree which was cooked beautifully, I had the Monkfish which was lovely and Scott had the Seafood platter which was fresh and huge, the oysters were... more

Food was not particularly good for a fish restaurant siituated on the harbour. Under cooked Scallops, overcooked Hallibut (too dry), and Monkfish in a Mornay Sauce served with mashed potatoes and salad!! Mash appears to be served with almost everything by the way. Anyhow, our main gripe was with the service. We booked a table for 8pm, and the food... more

The only downside was a bit over priced for the area and the portions on the small side. i had the haddok soup, was very creamy and tasty and gail had the salmon parcels with a prawn in the... more

Food was very nice, I had scallops that were excellant. The service was efficient however, I felt rather rushed - we ate 2 course and were out the door in about 45 mins - also we had about 6 different members of staff serve us which was strange. Need to more like a restaurant and less like a posh cafe. more

We visited Ee-usk (it's the phonetic spelling of 'iasc', Scottish Gaelic for 'fish') on a very wet Tuesday - it was the day the road to Inverary collapsed! When we arrived, with no booking, the restaurant was absolutely full, we were asked to wait upstairs but had only just sat down when someone came to get us and whisked us... more
