A group of six of us ate here one Thursday night. We had prebooked and got a great table. There was a special offer menu on when we were there - 3 courses for a tenner - excellent value, and the food was great. I had sausages and mash which was lovely, as were the profiteroles. Had never been to Browns before but very impressed. Huge inside with lots of tables & great decor - kind of 1930's meets New England. 6 of us had dinner recently in Browns, we were seated at a table that was just about big enough for us, it was fine but there was more comfortable tables there but taken unfortunately. have been in browns in London, Leeds and now Edinburgh, even though all restaurants are much the same the food is great and so is the service. Good food at reasonable prices. Their flat breads are yummy. more

Good lunchtime venue. Big, airy and relaxed. Food is "honest " and reasonably priced. more

One of the worst rissottos I have ever come across. And the service did not rescue the food. An extra star for decor - which is generous. more
