Eating late came across Mamma's. Good food, good price and good service. Save some room for a pud!! more
We chose to eat at Mammas last week as it was close to our hotel the Apex International across the road. On a day that temperatures in Edinburgh rocketed skywards it was a relief to bag the last remaining outside table on the Grassmarket. You can't go too far wrong with a pizza, so we ordered a large veggie pizza... more
Four of us came here midweek, they are busy and the two staff seemed rushed off their feet. Staff themselves are good when available. The atmosphere is pretty much simple, get you in, get you out macdonalds style, with beer. Pizza was forgettable, but the menu did have a variety of options. A few got pizzas which were all... more

The pizzas are good, with everything you can think of to put on them (even haggis and marshmallows!!?) with a choice of spicy and mild pizza sauce. Prices are reasonable, and although it's not as good as other pizza places in Edinburgh (La Favourita is the best), its... more
