The Grain Store offered us a wedding lunch comprising of not only great flavours and combinations of tastes but also a warm ambiance and friendly service. I can't understand the poor review written earlier this year. Yes, the tables are a bit "rustic", but I think that this reflects the commercial history of the premises. We spent a weekend in Edinburgh last month and we have appreciated this restaurant. Food was very good -try the trout - , the dessert excellent and the atmosphere lovely. The waiter was always smiling and polite and the maitre was very patient with our daughter of ten: he offered different icecreams to taste and choose! more
