The chocolate chip scones were awful, but I do like the breakfasts. They are a tad overpriced but at least they are consistently good.
Visited here for the first time last week since moving to the area. Cafe was recommended by a friend however I'm not likely to return. Although the food was nice, I thought it was overpriced compared to other similar cafes in the area - seemed more like "west end prices" in an inferior setting. The waiting staff didn't seem very... dark dismal shop with rude and unkempt staff , chipped crockery , food was below average with above average prices. Wont be back in a hurry.

Dull food, decor like a rehab clinic and really the worst manager maybe owner the way the girl acted. Almost anywhere else in shawlands is better. This place probably should be west end - all hype!
Great. Visited on weekday for lunch. Good menu, generous portions, good children's menu, prices reasonable. Staff nice. A bit dark inside. Child/family friendly, but plenty of room to avoid buggies too. Really good selection of cakes. Prompt service.
We visit biscuit probably at least once a week for lunch/brunch. The regular menu has plenty of choice and the specials are always just that. The weekend brunch menu is perfect whether you have a hangover or not. We get particularly excited when the pulled pork is on. The prices are reasonably, the food delicious and the service quick and... More
Although expensive Biscuit offers the best breakfast in Shawlands. It's perfectly cooked every time and the black pudding is worth the price alone. The cakes are also not bad (although I wouldn't recommend the chocolate scone!) and the coffee is good also. The ikea high chairs are great (so much better than the other high chairs on offer in other... More
I have visited Biscuit cafe on several occasions and would recommend it.Simple fresh food in a clean friendly cafe.Great place for a tasty brunch at the weekend!
As you can gather from my title - the food and service were top notch and their lentil and bacon soup was just what a cold wet winter lunch time needed. A lovely friendly little cafe with a surprisingly wide selection of great looking food. I've read some of the reviews posted about this place and I can not say... More
