Very friendly and attentive staff, without being overbearing. Food was very good and excellent size portions. No complaints at all, would recommend and will visit again.

Starters: Haggis Tower 3/5 Mustard sauce should be an accompaniment to the haggis Tower. Felt like this was a bit drowned. Other than that, very tasty. Arancini Formaggio 4/5 Had others more cheesy, vegetables accompaniment and dressing was lovely. Main Course: Filleto Piccolino 5/5 Requested...blue, got blue. Cooked to perfection. Peppercorn sauce a bit too thick but amazing flavour alongside steak and accompaniments of fried tomato, black pudding and french fries. Casaraccia Piccante 5/5 Perfect as always. Great mix of sauce, salami, peppers and pasta. Dessert: Coppa Du Fruitta Grande 5/5 Quite a light but large dessert. Reminded me of a good fruit trifle with icecream to finish. Absolutely great to finish a meal. Mario's Fluffy Fix 5/5: What more could you ask for. Strawberries, Marshmallows and chocolate chocolate chocolate. Amazing place to grab a bite and service is outstanding. Thanks to all the staff for their hard work.More
Visited with son for early breakfast at their opening time. We were only customers at first. Cleaning staff had only just started as I saw them enter 5 /10 mins before me . Working at other side restaurant initially but worked their way towards us...just as our breakfasts arrived. Moving & cleaning tables & chairs next to us and wet mop cleaning floor, with very strong bleach water! Smell overpowering to say the least. Not nice. Extremely unprofessional to bring in customers to eat before cleaning complete. My son did not want me to say anything at the time but I really should have spoke up left. Very unpleasant to have breakfast with this going on. Wasn’t much impressed with the breakfast quality either. Would not recommend.More
We always enjoy a great night an our local Italian restaurant! On this occasion we have to give particular mention to Kenny for his attentive, friendly and helpful service! See you all again soon!
A beautiful Italian restaurant, busy but exceptionally well designed and decorated throughout. The meal we had was exceptional
We went in here for a 3rd time and still the food is superb. Tried a few La vitas now and not disappointed with any. Great service once again.
My favourite restaurant! I visit regularly to stay with grandpa. La Vita is walking distance from his home and it really is a lovely restaurant. Great food, great service!
For years and years on a Saturday night we have had a carry out from here. Over the years the food had gradually got worse and worse. Tonight’s dinner should not have been spicy in any way yet it was verging on being inedible because...it was so spicy. Think they need to look at what they are serving up.More
Delicious food, sufficient service. Would recommend as there is something for everyone to enjoy ! !
Thanks for sharing your lovely review with us, we hope to see you again soon <3
Been in here twice over the past month and noticed that the managers speak to the serving staff with no respect at all. The serving staff were very accommodating and polite, should be treated with much more respect. At one point the manager aggressively grabbed...a bottle of wine out of a servers hand because he brought us the wrong one and on another occasion I saw a manager pointing his finger in the servers face giving him a telling off, in the restaurant in front of the customers. Complete disgrace, manager training is really needed here. Despite this, food was nice.More
Shocking service, loads of staff but all of which are more interested talking between themselves than actually serving. Food came with a long black curly hair entwinned in the food, when I told the staff, they grabbed the plate an replaced it suspcioulsy quickly and...not 1 ounce of an apology until i sent the food back a second time. I had sit the remainder of the meal with my family with no food.More
Really good food and great service. I like definitely be back again. Strongly recommend the Highlander pizza. Staff really friendly
Thanks for sharing your review with us Duncan, we hope to see you again soon <3
A thank you from the waiters after you pay for your meal would not hurt. Unless you are a regular, the staff are abrupt, aloof and verging on rude. Won't be back any time soon.
The total lack of warmth, interest or just basic service is a disgrace. Waiter arrived for drinks order but 2 of our party had just arrived so I asked for a few minutes. He just stood there and waited. Cocktails for 4 were delivered one...at a time, very slowly. Food ok but not great. Steak poor quality. Waited ages after mains to be offered dessert. Absolutely no chat, banter, anything from waiters. Will not be back.More
Not been for years and understood why. Was just coffee but waiters were surly, inefficient and the coffee was tasteless. To top it off it was the dearest coffee I've had...£7.40 for two coffees. Avoid!
We are very disappointed to hear this. I have passed your comment on to the owners.
