The 'quickie' lunch menu was not only a bargin (£7.50 !) the freshness of the mussels dish was as good as any thing I have tasted in Europe or Scotland at 3 times this price. When we were hankerin for some good mussels we asked around and EVERYONE told us to head to Mussel Inn not just told us, but RAVED about it. Have just returned from meal at Mussel Inn,on our first visit to Glasgow, thanks to reviews on Trip Advisor. Often visit Loch Fyne in Knowle, which is very good, but Mussel Inn was great. I have been to the Mussel Inn on a couple of occasions and have really enjoyed it. The food is great, service more than acceptable and is good value for money. more
this has to be my favourite place to eat in glasgow these days. the atmosphere is relaxed, not at all stuffy, the staff are friendly and the service is always excellent. i've never had any problems. the food is marvellous, especially the oysters and themussel pot, a kilo of mussels with your chosen sauce, chips aren't great, frozen most likely,... more
Lovely informal venue for lunch or dinner. You have to go some to beat a kilo pot of mussels with chips when you are in the mood! more
The mussels here are really excellent, best I have had for a long time. You are virtually sitting on top of the next couple it is a bit cramped and very hot in there. It does not look much but the seafood is gorgeous, well worth a visit. more
