Went here on Saturday at 6pm to sample the pre-theatre menu. Had 15 month old in tow and as soon as the staff saw us their faces dropped. Seated us near the door and in the centre of the restaurant (odd choice). Even some of the other diners looked aghast even though she was very quiet. To be fair Brian... more

We had to eat here on a Tuesday evening because the night I tried to book (Wednesday 28th October ) some guy called Roux was doing a cookery demonstration there! Oh well, upstaged by the best. So many tempting things to choose from, so we went for the celebration menu to have a taste of them all! Wow! the softest... more

We've eaten at Brian Maule's before and wanted a terrific end to a touring holiday with friends. Maule's has crisp white table linen, high ceilings, elegant table arrangements and knowledgable and discreet staff - so we went back. We ate and talked for over three hours and the food was out of this world. And the wine was affordable and... more

Eventually have eaten at Chardon D'or after promising ourselves a meal there for what seems likes ages. Worth waiting for as the meal was wonderful, service friendly and the atmosphere great. An expensive night out, but as we were having a celebration meal, it was worth every penny. We live in Glasgow and we are rightly proud of our restaurants... more

We opted for the pre theatre menu and it was delicious. There is a great selection of traditional scottish food with a modern twist. Great value for the standard of food on offer. Staff pleasant and beautiful restaurant. Well done all concerned. Will definately be back. more

We loved everything about this restaurant, the ambience, the service, the food and of course the champagne As we were there at 6pm we had the choice of the Pre-Theatre menu which was 2 courses for approx £16 and 3 courses for approx £19.50 or the A la Carte menu. On this occasion we chose A la Carte as we... more

Went for the £16.50 two course lunch today and am well pleased. Years since my first visit when I was under impressed , today they could do no wrong. Pleasant large spacious room with lots of white linen covers. Two smart and efficient waitresses. My soup and beef were generous and interesting.Good veg , rolls and fresh ground coffee with... more

This was a very positive surprise. We went to it because of the Trip Advisor recommendation. Good reception, good wine and menue card. Best service and admosphere. We had lamp and fillet. Both have been best meat we ever had. Price is in line with this good quality. more

We had booked an entertainment package, via the restaurant, to see Ricky Gervais at the Clyde Auditorium. There was a separate menu for the meal associated with the package, however this appeared to be very similar to the restaurant's Celebration Menu. The quality of the food was excellent, the staff attentive but not overly intrusive, and the wine (only option... more

If you are looking for a amazing dining experience in Glasgow then this has got to be the place. Fantastic service and food in the wonderful suroundings. Wine is a bit pricey but the food is not for the standard. Probably the restuarant in Glasgow worth a Michelin star. A pleasure from start to finish. more
