I'm reading your answer just now because I don't usualluy read back my past reviews. This is the first time that I receive an answer from one of the restaurants or hotels I reviewed and this is a good point for you. You defined my review as "malicious & blasphemous", well you and me well know that this is not... More

Good service. Great selection of dishes. Nachos to share were a bit small "to share". Worth a visit. Next to fern cottage restaurant. A lot of people just popped in for tea/coffee and scones while we were eating. Food tasty and reasonably priced. Toilets are in the basement, but a disabled loo is available if needed. More

I felt that the food was of poor industrial standard. Baked potatoes were microwaved, giving a rubbery texture and the cheapest white cheddar was used. More

We went there with our daughter and her family on a late Spring day. We placed our order, then waited and waited - the children were becoming impatient. When I asked what the problem was, there had been some confusion over our order for high-tea. When it came the food was very good. I would go there again and would... More

We visited for a late lunch on News Years Eve. Service was very friendly and efficient and the menu was a varied selection of traditional meals with Pasta specials and sandwiches/Panini. I personally chose the Victorias Special Burger which was huge but also very tasty. A nice homemade burger with interesting toppings. We have previously eaten here on an evening... More

I fell in love with this quaint little Scottish Restaurant, as in Canada we just don't have places like this. This down home vibe was electrifying, especially since I was missing my family back home. The staff were so friendly, and they went above and beyond on asking all my dumb tourist questions when the restaurant was extremely busy! I... More
