We stopped here on our way round the North of the island. I'm glad we did. The cake we had to accompany our cuppa was delicious. The dining room was spotlessly clean and staff were warm and very friendly (owner from Cumbria, I know I'm biased!) look out for Little Ellie, she's a sweetheart ;o)

We went to this place because it happened to be on our way while driving through Skye. It's a great little place, well setup and decorated. The menu is simple (organic food, no meats), but delicious nonetheless! The dessert selection in equally good! If you're in the Isle of Skye make it a destination for lunch. Don't miss it!

This was the first place we went to on Skye and it was the last place we visited before we started the drive home; it's just lovely. A simple menu; each dish well presented, generous and delicious, an excess of well made cakes, excellent tea and a really friendly lass that will juggle getting your dishes to you at the... More

Friendly service, lovely food and great art in a fabulous setting. We visited at the same time as the food inspectors and the a rough Guide assessor, but we still got great service. Fantastic cakes and thoroughly enjoyed soup which we needed on a cold wet day.

While exploring the Isle of Skye and heading to the Mealt Falls, we happened to chance across this lovely cafe! All thanks to the cafe's road-side sign and some hungry bellies. Not only is the location and house gorgeous, but the food was spectacular as well. We tried the homemade lemon presse and the homemade elderflower presse, both of which... More

Called into the Ellishadder Art Cafe this afternoon for something to eat and it's a lovely, welcoming place in a wonderful setting. I'm on a gluten free diet but this was no problem - Maggie understood what that meant (not everyone does!) and soon served up home made tomato soup with oat cakes instead of bread. Definitely recommend it.
