Okay so we had hesitation about coming here because of others reviews. When we arrived we were the only people there which also gave us pause. However, the food was fantastic and the service good. My husband is not a big fish fan but he loved his fish. We don't think we have ever eaten fish that fresh! We would... More

This restaurant had good reviews on Tripadvisor so we decided to give it a try. The place was empty, but the stuff was very friendly. Starters were alright (the smoked haddock soup and mussels), however with main meal came with trouble. We ordered salmon fillet and lobster tales. Salmon had no flavor at all and lobster tales were like little... More

Everytime we get to Skye we have to go to Creelers. It is not big at all but it is huge on variety and flavors. Do your self a favor and do not pass this place up! Lunch or Dinner, both are excellent. More

Creelers is a unique and unforgettable dining experience, a restaurant that remains one of the must visit eateries in Scotland, combining as it does fresh local seafood with the chef's superb first-hand knowledge of Cajun and French cuisine. Chef David's seafood or chicken gumbo is a carefully wrought and lovingly created explosion of spices which lingers long on the tastebuds,... More

We have stopped for lunch at Creelers three or four times now, and the food is always excellent. The atmosphere is quite laid back and the furnishings are basic but comfortable, but the food is excellent derived from French/Cajun roots, derived from quality local produce and cooked to order. It has always been popular and deservedly so, and attracts a... More

Squat lobsters are as good as we expected, enhanced by the creelers sauce. More

The location of this restaurant is fantastic and the menu looked really nice to us so we stopped for lunch however we were very disappointed. The staff seemed more interested in talking to some regulars and even going outside to have photos taken. The prices were at the high end and for the tariff you should expect things to be... More

We were out exploring Skye when my wife noticed a sign for Creelers. We followed the signs and found ourselves in front of a totally unimpressive building. It momentarily gave us pause... Oh how glad I am that we went in. The food is delicious. Fresh seafood and produce, locally sourced, prepared with great skill. I wasn’t sure whether to... More

Being human nature one noted the negatives in others reviews. I don't understand or accept them. The food was superb and you get what you pay for. Cheaper places might disappoint - this experience did not. Mussels with aioli - beautiful. Smoked haddock soup tasted delightful. Not cullen skink, but think cock-a-leekie with perfect smoked haddock & new potato instead... More

A lovely experience all round. Whilst visiting Skye and after a long walk during the day, my girlfriend and I decided to eat out at the last minute. We had heard about Creelers before our trip and were keen to try it. We managed to find one of the few square metres on Skye that has some mobile reception and... More
