You won't find too many dishes on the menu, but all of them are good. We've eaten here many times, and it is always a pleasure. The shop next door is owned by the same people, and features imported Italian groceries. more

The arrabiata sauce was painfully spicy and the arugula risotto was too bitter. Delicious homemade tiramisu as an after-dinner pick-me-up. Wonderful ambiance. Great date spot. more
This is in my opinion the best restaurant in Cork City ... and I've been to most of them. more

We had an early-evening meal at Casanova in April 2008, and strongly recommend it: the atmosphere and service were good and the food was delicious. I'm vegetarian and found an unusually wide range of appealing choices on the menu, finally opting for a risotto with radicchio, while me husband was impressed with his pizza. more
