Visited on my birthday and a great choice of venue. Great atmosphere, choice of 35 beers on tap, loads of choice of food served all day. Will be back again soon.
Went in on a busy Friday night and got hot food from the carvery. I ordered the chicken special, which was breaded chicken filled with cheese and sundried tomatoes, and it came with all the trimmings. Chicken breast was massive, probably the biggest I've ever seen which is a little off-putting, I doubt it's organic! The cheese tasted weird, I'd... More
You will not leave this place broke and definitely not hungry. Great beer, nice selection of wine. They even have a vegetarian section. My husband enjoyed the carvery section, the choices were great. Atmosphere was fabulous. We ate here twice during our stay in Dublin. Will definitely go back.
We stopped in at O’Neills a few times for both drinks and dinner during a week stay in Dublin. The carvery had a nice selection choice and you got a ton of food for the price. It was always a nice place to stop in for a pint and to rest a bit while touring the city. It is definitely... More
As others have mentioned, there are plenty of corners and rooms to find a place to sit in this pub. The food line serves a nice selection - with large portions - of irish fare. It's very conveniently located downtown as well, and we've been back several times without any complaints. Several pub tours, including the literary one, visit O'Neills,... More
We visited here after reading several reviews on here and online regarding their Irish Breakfast. I ordered the Irish breakfast and it was not very good. The sausage had a weird mushy consistency, the jams were all very vinegary, and nothing had very much flavor. My husband ordered the shepherds pie which was disappointing as well. The veggies were served... More
Find a seat in the atmospheric pub, then order and collect cafeteria style at the food bar. Service is quick and friendly. Make sure you're hungry as the servings are really generous (although can ask for less!) and the food is really tasty. Would definitely recommend it for that traditional Irish meal.... My wife and I went back to eat... More
Our taxi driver recommended this place to us if we wanted good food but not too expensive. He was spot on, the selection of food was really good and the portion sizes were as big as you want. I had lamb shank and it came with as much veg as you could fit on the large plate. It tasted lovely... More
