Having stayed at a couple of Blue Book properties recently I decided to try out a couple of the Dublin properties that are also in the guide. All very good but l'Ecrivain surpassed them all. I was worried when my Irish friends talked me into going to L'ecrivain for dinner because I usually find fine dining unpleasantly stuffy. I was wonderfully surprised to have such a relaxing, comfortable meal. The service was extremely professional and efficient but also warm and relaxed.
