You have to stop in here for a drink one evening. A cavernous place filled to the brim with outlandish decor and surprisingly comfy sofas. We went on a Sunday so it was quiet by Dublin standards, but it has great atmosphere and as I say, an absolte feast of decorative over-exuberances that make it something of an experience to... more

I come every time I'm in Dublin. Definitely one of the most beautiful bars in Ireland and the staff are sound out too. Used to be a bit pricey but they've changed that. Slightly older crowd but that suits me. Great food, great music, love it. more

I stumbled upon this place by chance on a Sunday afternoon, and had one of the most enjoyable meals of my vacation. The place is huge, with a wide variety of places to choose from to sit at. We relaxed in oversized armchairs, drank Irish coffee, and enjoyed a lovely meal. Service was wonderful. Felt very peaceful and calm. The... more

The food came out cold. The puff pastry was dry and the stew cold as well as the mashed potatoes etc. Too big of a place to handle food well. The Guinness seemed flat too. Oh well - the only bad meal in 16 days - as we just walked in - so no research. It was a relaxing place... more

Once settled in, you could spend hours here. It feels like the sort of place you could imagine Marilyn Monroe hanging out, sipping cocktails. You will feel at home here drinking coffee, cocktails, or Guinness. Good service, and very relaxed atmosphere. more

The unassuming facade of Cafe In Seine hides a truly bourgeois and bohemian interior - a place Oscar Wilde might have enjoyed the odd glass of absinthe maybe?? I would be very happy to sip a glass of wine and watch the world go by in this busy, stylish place - as it is I enjoyed a fairly standard plate... more

this place is way over priced and pretentious, the guinness isnt all that good either, not much of an atmosphere either i think the people who go here just do so because it some how makes them feel superior, if you are a nob then this is the place for you!! more

A friend and I went to Cafe en Seine at approximately 7:30 p.m. on a Sunday evening (July 6) after a long day of sightseeing in Dublin by foot. Having heard that the food would be excellent and the atmosphere eclectic, we had been hoping for a sumptuous meal, topped off with a decadent dessert. The meal was indeed fabulous... more
