Market bar is great value for delicious tapas. Service is always really good and theres lots of space and great atmosphere.
This bar was perfect for a casual reasonably priced meal . We had a set menu which comprised of platters of tapas, 2 courses .There was a very good selection of tasty well presented food . , portions were v generous. Our waitress Monica was v pleasant and efficient and patient with us when some people arrived late and needed... More
Kind of a German beer house themed bar with lots of long tables and really spacey place. You feel like you are sitting outside even when you are inside such is the lay out. Drink is reasonably priced and doorman are also friendly enough. I have never eaten here but food smells amazing will do so very soon!
Having never arranged to meet friends here for drinks before I said I'd give it a go. Well I was not disappointed.. Good service, good range of beers and cocktails, interesting smoking room both outside and upstairs.. I'll be back
We have called in to the Market Bar on a few occasions as I really love the lay out of the place, but on each occasion the service has been poor. The last visit was the worst. We arrived and were shown to a table in the corner. The menu on the table was showing "brunch" until 3, (it was... More
Hi Babik We do really appreciate any form of feed back, we where completely overwhelmed with how busy we got on Saturday afternoon, this is something we will learn from as we where under staffed for such a Saturday afternoon, this is no excuse for how it affected your service & we truly apologise for the actions of the member... The food is very good, their vegetarian option menu is delicious. However, even better than the food is the atmosphere and hospitality. One of my favorite places in dublin. Always come here with my friends, before the big night out.
I have visited this establishment several times, and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I was trying to arrange a reunion for myself and 14 friends, so rang to reserve an area-as I could only say food things about the food and the portion sizes are very generous. I was informed about the set menu for groups, the price... More
Hi Michelle, Michelle firstly i would like to sincerely apologise for the level of service you received on that evening, I can not excuse what way you where treated , this is something that i have never been aware of in the past & you are right regarding why pay service charge for bad service, could you tell me was... This is always a safe bet for really tasty food, at a very reasonable price. Anytime my friends visit me they insist on eating here. Only one negative I can think of is the high ceiling creates poor sound, so not ideal for holding a conversation with more than a couple of people at a time. Lovely food, bargain prices,... More
Came here with a group of friend's for a leaving party. We decided to get lots of things to share between us and were not disappointed. The portion sizes are huge! But the quantity by no means takes away from the quality. I can't even think of something to recommend, everything was great! Cannot wait to return
Went here a few times whilst working for 8 months in Dublin. Lively, friendly place in the city centre. Also has a nice tapas selection to soak up the alcohol. Be warned it can get quite busy especially towards the end of the week and weekends. Worth a visit.
