The staff looked and ignored me. I didn´t looked like a lot of money, as other guests. If you are look like a rich guest, you will be operated. more

We enjoyed Murphy's Bar for lunch and dinner! All of the food is typical pub food by which I mean it is the place to get great fish and chips, guinness both in the glass in and in the food. We called in a couple of times for drinks here during our short stay in Killarney and always found a good and welcoming atmosphere. Their food is reasonably priced and tasty - I liked the beef in Guiness and the mussels were also good. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and they even have free wifi for customers.... more

We walked around a lot comparing menus of the different pubs and eateries in downtown Killarney and decided on Murphy's. It was a good choice! The prices were decent and the food and beer was great. I got the Irish Stew and thought it was the best I had all trip! (better than Gallagher's Boxty House in Dublin) My wife... more

Lots of Pubs in Killarney but we visited in February 09 and felt this was one of the best experiences. We went for lunch and the food was fantastic. Service was prompt and friendly and the owner, Sean Murphy, also helped serve us and enjoyed talking with us. more
