We had a great evening in this really cosy pub whilst it was lashing outside. The food was really tasty and reasonable - I had the potato cakes which were delicious and good portions for the hungry. We discovered the Laurels and kept coming back for more! After going to the Laurels for after dinner drinks and desserts, we had to go back for more our last night in Killarney. We ended up eating there and getting dessert on night 2! The service was excellent! We were greeted warmly by all the bartenders and chatted with them... more

The Laurels has become one of our favorite places in the world! We have spent 2 St. Paddy's days with the staff and regulars and absolutely had a great time! As Con once told me, "You don't find Ireland, Ireland finds you"... he was right and Killarney and the Laurels found us and we look forward to many future visits!... more

A group of 16 of us went to Killarney the weekend just gone, Sat 26th April, for my hen nite. We had heard that The Laurels was the place to go for the craic and a sing song...how wrong we were. We were told that there was NO SINGING allowed in the pub !!! Needless to say we left upon... more

Try the seafood chowder! My husband would also tell you the roast beef with gravy is excellent. Good start and good prices for your first meal in Killarney! more
