Always visit this restaurant when i'm in limerick. Food is consistently good. Best indian in Ireland by a long shot. Tandoori prawns and massamam curry are FAB! Only downside is the wine menu which is perhaps somewhat overpriced for some of the wines on offer. Overall a great restaurant. Definitely a must when visiting Limerick. more

I go here so often because the food is fantastic. For wonderful food, good atmosphere, and a great curry experience this is the place to be. Consistently, IMO, the best restaurant in Limerick/Ireland. Both their Annacotty restaurant and their Corn Market restaurant. Have taken friends here many times and they have all loved it. While in Ireland we had the chance to visit Copper and Spice. They actually have two locations, one right in Limerick and another in AnnaCotty. This is my favourite restaraunt in Limerick, always consistently excellent indian & asian food. Prices are mid-range but the early bird is great value for 3 courses and a drink. I would recommend anyone try this place. more

Indian food in Ireland is relatively new to Ireland compared to say Chinese. Copper & Spice tries its best to be authentic Indian but falls into the trap of making all its sauces too sweet to cater for the Irish palate. Why this restaurant recieves such glowing accolades is beyond me. The food is average and not overly inventive, the service is average and not overly friendly and the cost bares no relation to the amount of enjoyment, that is, it's far too expensive for what you get.
