Go to THE HELM instead, it's just a few doors down and could teach these people a thing or two about service, food quality and welcomes. No restaurant staff to greet or seat incoming customers, just a big open hallway with 3 waiters wandering past, heads bowed in an effort to avoid any eye contact with bewildered customers left standing... more

The owner & staff will without intrusion make your dining experience in Quay Cottage a memorable one. The food is simply exquisite . Attention to detail & relaxed atmosphere tempted us to dine there 3 times in the one week. Cannot recommend this lovely quaint place highly enough. Will be back again next week.
