Went to La Hind for the first time today with friends after reading many good reviews. However, this restaurant probably served the most disappointing Indian food I have had in many years (I am of Indian origin and eat a lot of Indian food in restaurants and at home): Potatos, cauliflower and lentils/beans were undercooked to raw, i.e. almost stone-hard... more

I have visited the la Hind maybe a dozen times. It is one of those places you keep trying. often with good food, sometimes with good service. Sometimes, unfortunately, with neither. La Hind opened its doors in the building vacated by the Jaipur when it moved to its new oppulent building. With a tough act to follow La Hind is not bad at all. The food is perfectly good, the staff are attentive and polite and the prices reasonable for both food and wine. For a day to day curry house... more
