I visited only a few weeks ago with my family and enjoyed a very nice meal. The food I was delivered was excellent, I had ordered the steak and it was cooked perfectly and put together with great taste; also my daughter and son could enjoy the experience with us due to the range of the menu which included things... Having eaten here a few times before admittedly maybe a year ago I was looking forward to a return visit but the freshness and quality has disappeared .My fish had been well past it's sell by date along with my wife's starter .

Myself and my partner recently visited The Barge for the first time. The food was less than average and felt they had a very misleading menu. We have decided we will not be rushing back as we were very disapointed with the overall experience.

I went to The Barge with my boyfriend for a meal before I left the country for awhile, and it was a perfect place to go! Albeit a very quiet midweek night (we might have been the only customers!) it was dreamy floating on the river with the sunset to look at out of the window. The food was also... More

Went to the Barge in March 2013. It was a very nice evening which was improved by a singer who was very talented. The food was of a high quality and the service good. I have not rated this restaurant as outstanding as the menu is quite limited and value for money is only good.

Now, if you want quality food and a restaurant with great ambiance this is the place. The entertainment was first class and the service was good. However what let the restaurant down was the extreamly small portions. I love fine dining as much as the rest, but boy was I let down on what you actually good for the price... More

Visited the Barge for my sons birthday which also fell on Valentines weekend, superb evening entertainment was tribute singer Frank Sinatra, fun was had by all, the staff were attentive and friendly and made a fuss of Ashleigh, only one small criticism though, maybe supply some seasonal vegetables with main meal in a seperate bowl and some bread rolls of... Dined New Years Eve 2012/13 We had discovered the Barge in November, and really enjoyed the food and ambiance. Dined there again the week before Christmas, and thoroughly enjoyed again. Spoke to the owner about New Years Eve and with the promise of a fixed price menu, music and dancing, we booked straight away. The Barge has 2 dining rooms,... More
