Despite its flock wallpaper, The Moss Nook is still the second best restaurant in Greater Manchester after Michael Caines. It’s not the cheapest, but you wouldn’t expect that would you? Fine restaurant, under same ownership as 'Underscar Manor' in Lake District near Keswick. Most friendly polite and attentive staff. A la carte + inclusive 'surprize' menus will not disappoint the most fastidious foodie. Extensive well-chosen wine list. Not cheap but overall quite excellent and recommended ! more
