A warm and friendly place with an amazing waiter and excellent food. We ate there twice and are still trying to replicate the wonderful dishes at home!
Lovely restaurant, chef is very inventive and you'd like to eat everything on the menu! Maître d' is charming and describes the food beautifully. Service excellent. English spoken should you wish. They have a beautiful restaurant and it is advisable to book if you definitely want a table. It's lovely to find a decent restaurant in Dinan that doesn't just... More
Excellent, inventive menu with a focus on doing a few things very well. Relaxed, friendly service. Justifiably popular and great value.
We visited this restaurant because of the reviews on Tripadvisor - the property was very modest, however the food was delightful and the young man running the place charming, although I think he could of done with a bit more support perhaps taking drinks orders etc. The price was very reasonable and we enjoyed all 3 courses, scallops and all.... We read on here that we needed to book so we rushed over and did it. We got a lunch time table and had to bring our toddler with us. They were very accomodating by ordering a small portion of vegetables for him, but it's not the best place to take children (no high chairs or running around space!). That... More
We were fortunate enough to get a able at this tiny restaurant, if you are staying in Dinan book a table as soon as you arrive. Not only was the food amazing, but such good value for a very high quality. The service was excellent and very friendly, the tomato and basil sorbet was amazing and the presentation was stunning.
We booked purely on basis of Trip Advisor reviews and weren't disappointed. The restaurant was small and intimate with a lovely buzz and NO piped music! Olivier who was front of house was so welcoming and helpful with explaining the menu as required. The food was exceptional, beautifully presented and great value for a set price. The restaurant offered 5/6... More
Deserving of its number one status in Dinan. An intimate seating plan added to the relaxed atmosphere, the service was excellent, the food superb, €23 per person for three courses was fantastic value €18p.p for 2 courses. A choice of 5 starters, 5 mains and 5 desserts, but still difficult to choose from. The food was fresh and presented well.... More
Having tried out several of Dinan's best Restaurants during previous stays, this was our first meal at La Courtine. The Restaurant is tucked away down an unassuming side road, so not ideally placed for passing trade, however, by all accounts the place is booked out every night, so that's not really an issue. The dining area is small and nicely... More
Tucked away in little street of main road you could walk past without noticing la courtine but having seen such great reviews thought we had to try it. We booked as soon as we arrived in dinan but could only get in on the last night of our stay. Great welcome . Great service and the food was delicious. So... More
