We ate lunch here after visiting the Pantheon. The service was terrible and the food even worse. They never came to see how the food was. The chicken in the Cesar salad had no flavor and couldn’t eat. Waiter was lazy and we had to...ask for our starters. The beer we ordered never showed up. I could continue but no need.More
We were two couples. The first serve of drink , my cocktail awful lemon syrup instead of Margarita. Avocado salad with some pink things as shrimp stale. Our foods was cold (frankfurters and potatoes) and salmon... So better not go if you have any choice.
Stopped in for dinner on our first night in Paris, waitstaff provided English menu as well as suggestions. We enjoyed escargot the most but our meals were wonderful too. Glad we stopped in!
Had a very nice meal here. I started with herring and the went on to have a steak. Well cooked unpretentious food. The beer selection is extensive. So great French and Belgian beers on the list. Very friendly staff too who also speak English.
Stopped here for a drink after visiting the nearby gardens. I ordered a beer and my wife ordered a mai tai (a drink listed on their cocktail menu). The drink that showed up was not a mai tai; completely wrong liquor and mixers. When we...told the waiter it was the wrong drink he became quite indignant insisting it was their version of a mai tai. It wasn’t. Not even close to the drink listed clearly in their menu. Then he wisked the drink away and didn’t come back. I finally got the check from a different server who was no more friendly. We’re not obnoxious tourists; we merely wanted what we ordered. By far the worst service we’ve received in Paris.More
Do not eat here. Raw chicken on the chickenburger as well as bugs and dirt in the salad. I’m sure there are multiple health violations in the kitchen...as well as on the plates.
The waiter brought us the wrong order. We had to wait for the food for a pretty long time. It seemed like they had no interest in their customers. The food was less than mediocre. Don’t come here!
The food provided was absolutely terrible! Over 60% of my partners meal (pork) was pure fat so completely inedible and it was super expensive! Ordered under recommendation which was clearly an upselling technique, and when we told the waiter it was terrible there was zero...compassion and not even an over for a refund or lowered price. Overall, terribly expensive for terrible food and terrible service! If I could rate less than 1/5 I would.More
Stopped in here after a day at the Eiffel Tower on the way back to our AirBnB; had a pleasant pizza and salad to share. Did not notice it was too smokey; it was cold so not many people were sitting outside; perhaps when the...door opens and closes on nicer days it lets in smoke??? there are so many little bars and cafes in this neighborhood; they all seem a bit alike. Not super special on the interior; on lovely days sitting outside might be more fun. During our whole trip it was quite chilly so we did not get the outdoor cafe experience this time around. I think the food was fine though. Most of our dinners for two averaged around $50 , including one drink ( wine or cocktail) each. We had ice cream at our apartment every night for dessert. Paris isn't cheap unless you want to eat at mcdonalds or make all your meals yourself. ( but what fun is that) --- one other note: I was worried everyone would be dressed up at dinner time but don't let that bother you... jeans and comfy shoes are fine everywhere we went ( maybe if you wanted to go to the Michelin 5 star places you might need to dress up but this was not for me).... the ladies wear scarves and that dresses up whatever you have on.... we really enjoyed Paris. I wouldn't hesitate to stop in here for a casual dinner or drinks.More
We stopped in here for some happy hour drinks and a bite to eat. Service was good and food was served promptly and we had no complaints. Upon getting the bill however we noticed that the beers were down for full price despite it being...during happy hour. The manager first tried to make out that we placed the order before happy hour started which wasn't true as it was in full swing before we even set foot in the place. Upon seeing that we weren't budging and would only pay happy hour price he said that it was an error with the till due to the clocks going backwards two nights previous. This is absolute nonsense as the clock going backwards would have meant that happy hour would've started an hour early not later. Be weary of this place. It's a real shame that they seem to target unsuspecting tourists and try squeeze every last cent out of them in an already expensive cityMore
If you're looking for a nice place to have a beer and enjoy a good meal, this is the place to be. Located in the middle of the Quartier Latin, La Gueuze provides you a large selection of local and imported beers, so don't forget...to pay a visit.More
Completely miss this place out. Smell of cigarette smoke everywhere. Overcooked to the point of blackness. Ordered a quiche and it stated on the menu €5 - when paying the bill it said it was €7! Even worse, a coffee is €5! Extremely overpriced.
If you are looking for quality food and quick service so this is the right restaurant to go. The location is very distinguished ; very close to the Pantheon and Jardin du Luxembourg. I enjoyed the snail dish and the mussels with cream sauce. The...pizza was very special too. Above all the prices are very reasonable.More
We had some great dishes, beer and wine at this nice restaurant in the Latin Quarter near our hotel. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was incredible! We had dinner there and it was quite busy but still had good service.
