Amazing food, well spend money. It was very small and felt cozy. Even though it was small it still felt like you could have your own conversation. 4 courses €42.

Easy place with warm atmosphere, nice plates and a valid choice of wine. We had a great braised meat with a nice bottle of wine, this one maybe a little bit to expensive for the quality of the wine. The solution of a dayly unique...menu is nice.More
This small restaurant is not going to suit you if you have any dietary requirements as it only offers one menu based on what they've decided to cook! Starter, main, cheese & pud for €66 per person was a reasonable price to pay & the...super friendly staff explain the menu to you at your table. The portions are generous, the wine selection vast & the kitchen tiny. We really enjoyed our evening.More
No stranger to this establishment. Searched my emails and I've been here in 2015, 2016 and 2018. I know what to expect. Unfortunately the place has gone downhill. My napkin ring was broken. I have it to a younger gentleman behind the counter. He laughed...and used it like a toy flipping it around. My soup came out barely warm. After 15 minutes of them ignoring me I walked up to the counter and told them about it. They replaced it with slightly warmer soup. The main course was pork, bacon and lentils. It was more fat then meat and the hickory flavor or whatever that was from the bacon was overwhelming. I could tell that there was meat and fat when I chewed but I couldn't taste it. I left not even finishing the main. Paid my bill. They asked if the food was okay I said no and they didn't bother to ask why, they just let me leaveMore
Return here every time we are in Paris and every meal here is delicious, but this time was truly outstanding! We always opt for the prix fixe with an entree, plat, fromage, and dessert. Staff has fabulous wine recommendations and extensive knowledge. They won't make...you feel intimidated and they are so welcoming from the minute you enter the restaurant.More
Food and atmosphere was nice, but the service attitude was unbelievable. We were only four on a reservation for 6 as one couple had to cancel rather late. As we entered and this news was made clear, I was chastised for this. The restaurant was...not full, so I don't see why this was necessary. Much worse though was that we made clear that 3 of the four would like to eat the fish dish. A vegetarian dish would have been fine as well. None of that either. Whether these were available or not, the proprietor said that if two of us would not eat meat, we could leave, all delivered in a matter of fact tone. We were all stunned! I have lived and been traveling to Paris for over 20 years and have seen hospitality get so much better. This experience was, well, nostalgic.More
Great atmosphere, service was excellent. The menu of the day was fantastic. Best of all was the wine. You picked from bottles on the shelf and they then brought your choice from the cellar. Bought Armagnac to go
I liked the concept of the ‘day menu’ it was really well cooked and served. Excellent wine too. Not too pricey for the quality. Highly recommend.
This is a wonderful, classical bistro that I’ve been to on three occasions now. The food and service is always superb and the wine list is mind blowing.
This was my second visit to Les Papilles and I enjoyed it. On a trip that contained many great meals, this was not my favorite, but it was quite good. My dining companions absolutely raved, so I may have been alone in my reservations.
Our 4th visit to this fabulous restaurant this year. Consistently great food, great service and value for money wine list.
We had a really pleasant evening at Les Papilles! The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, the food was excellent and the wine recommendation was perfect.
Reservations absolutely required - easily done, and follow up email the day of the reservation to ensure you are still coming. Food was delicious, set menu of soup, main, cheese and dessert. Each dish had well balanced flavours, the soup and main served family style...where you serve yourself. Service was friendly and welcoming, the meal was well paced. We had a table for two right by the wall near the back of the restaurant, which was perfect. Some tables are very close to each other, so it's not a place for an intimate dinner. All customers were tourists, no locals here. One complaint - the chairs are really uncomfortable. Wood chairs, no cushion, we were ready to leave when dinner was done.More
This is a great bistro in a historic wine shop. There is a single fixed price menu, but the courses were excellent, with large portions. Naturally, there was plenty of available wine, and the host's wine recommendation was also excellent. This was a great ending...to a day spent going to museums and walking around the Left Bank. Reservations in advance are necessary, even on weekdays in the fall.More
I was really expecting a good dinner based on the reviews but I was so very disappointed. The food was bland and tasteless. The ingredients were of poor quality. All the customers were English speakers so I think it is a restaurant that caters to...tourists. We had tasteless pumpkin soup and veal stew.More
