Enjoyed my spaghetti carbonara, and would go back. Not very special, but simple, honest, with decent ingredients. Not especially welcoming environment.
A small place off the pedestrian street with good home made cooking. We ate at a table outside and our Young waitress was perfect ! good fish and meat on the menu at a very resonable price. We'll go there again!
A fairly hard to find little place on a backstreet. We hadn’t really eaten a decent meal for a couple of days and fancied a big dinner, I found this place based on TA reviews. It was quiet when we arrived and we elected to sit at a street table. The staff were initially very attentive, meal started so well... More
The food is very simple Italian cooking, but they use really good and fresh ingredients. It is family-run (with the mothers in the kitchen and the sons and dad waiting on the tables) The staff are pleasant and are very family-friendly (we went there with a toddler) and they were very accommodating, making special dishes for our daughter. The prices... More
Family owned professionally trained Rome chefs. Mom cooks and the 2 brothers wait on tables. Mozzarella imported from Napoli. Felt at home immediately. Nice pasta. My husband had grilled shrimp. Highly recommend. Away from the tourist circus in an alley
We went there twice this year and twice last year. The fish, usually daurade or loup, cooked in a variety of herbs as the restaurants name suggests, is delicious, probably as tasty as I can ever remember having. We haven't tried the meat dishes but they looked good. Deserts are standard French desserts but good quality. the restaurant itself is... More
Had a wonderful experience with my family in this restaurant. Friendly service, good food and great wine, all at a very affordable price. Came out to 170 euroes for 4 persons, with 2 bottles of wine, 3 courses, coffee and sweet wine. Really good value for money.
This is One Of the best places for Italian food on the French riviera! Superb!
have 3 meals here during our 6 day stay. this is a family run restaurant run by 2 brothers doing the service and "mama" doing the cooking. everything we ate we had to wait for as it was cooked from fresh, and despite the wait the food was superb! local ingredients and old family recipes were always on offer, and... This restauant is not the cheapest in Menton, but is family run and seems busy with locals at lunchtime (always a good sign). As an avowed carnivore the steak was superb. I have to admit that we have followed this family over the last 8 years from working for others to owning their own business for the last 3, and... More
