Had to book three days ahead even in November! This place is very popular and rightly so. Lovely staff, good food at a very reasonable price. more

I have to say first I have been there due to the TA fellows. Indeed is a very nice place indeed is crowded and you need to book a table in advance and, indeed the tomato salad is gorgeous... It was funny because I have ordered this salad being curious to see what can be so great and it was... more

The food was absolutely fantastic and the service average (unlike every other restaurant in Nice where the service is abysmal - "average" service here was spectacular in comparison). I have literally never had a tomato salad (starter) or grilled duck (main) that were anywhere close to as good as this. 100% recommended. (Decent value for money too). more

This place was great and seemed to be loved by locals & tourists alike - so many people were being turned away. The food was spectacular for very reasonable prices (120Euros for 4 including wine). There may be some difficulties with the language barrier (menu is in French with no translation) but if that doesnt put you off then you... more

We had a wonderful meal at Le Bistro d'Antoine. We had just arrived in France and were a little overwhelmed with the language barrier. We put our trust in the waiter to give us the specialties of the house. We don't regret it. It was fantastic. We went on the travel through a lot of France and this meal was... more

My wife and I paid a much-anticipated return visit to Bistrot d’Antoine in early March 2009. Having previously given it a good mention in passing on Trip Advisor (in a Le Grimaldi Hotel review), I regret to say that this second visit made me think how true is the phrase “You Should Never Go Back”. We had booked for dinner... more

An excellent value, small restaurant, for which you will need to make a booking two or three days ahead, even in the low season. For lunch as well as for dinner. If you are prepared to wait until about 2.0 pm you may get a seat without a reservation. It seems that most local, regular customers are placed upstairs, while... more

....booked the table in person for the following evening but when we arrived (in the pouring rain!), the waitress had written the booking in the wrong date and there was no table for us. She was quite rude and insisted i'd booked for the next night ( i hadn't because we were coming home!) but her 'boss' suggested we come... more

First time visit to Nice and this restaurant was a gem . Lovely atmosphere , friendly welcome and excellent food. After a number of attempts we finally had a reservation for a lunchtime. For 2 courses and glass of wine each we paid a total bill of 42 Euros - worth every euro Be warned this restaurant is hugely popular... more
