Beautiful location, but the food and service was incredibly awful. Perhaps the worst wine I've ever been served in France, followed by the worst steak. This came together with an incredible amount of "attitude" from the server. There are much nicer places to dine in Chamonix. Don't go here. more

Went here on our first night in chamonix as restaurant was recommended....what a mistake. Looks nice, and is very well decorated however staff whilst pleasant hadn't a clue and food was awful. Expensive, bad, slow, spilled our drinks, got order wrong, got bill wrong etc. etc. etc. if you are in Chamonix eat in the le Petite Kitchen, trust me:... more

We reserved a table and went there for a dinner. We ordered the set menu ar 23E. It was very nice up to the moment when our steaks arrived. There were inedible, the meat was hard and sinewy. You could not chew it. Big disappointment. more

Excellent -- definitely upscale and lovely location overlooking the river. We had taken our kids (7 and 9) who were on their best behavior -- not sure I'd recommend families with young children, but they were nicely accomodating and I do have to say the children were well behaved and ordered off the menu. more
