La Caleche is very touristy - but we had good food prepared with care, good wine and friendly and efficient service. You can't avoid the aroma of melted cheese though - especially when the surrounding tables are melting their giant half cheeses for raclette. more

Okay, this is not haute cuisine. But it not pretending to be. It is a fun, touristy, Alpine restaurant with all the regional dishes you so want to try before you go home. Mmmmm.... Fondue. Don't worry about all those cheesy calories until you get home. more

This is a good touristy resturant with the staff in Alpine gear, and a good size menu. The food is good and you will have a great time. What really spoils it for me is you get this photographer coming round bugging you to take your photo. How 80s is that?- I just want to left alone when dining!! more

Great restaurant - ate here for Xmas Eve in Chamonix. Conveniently located near the town centre. Highly recommend the fondue meal with cured meats. Easy to book via email. The restaurant is quite large, with an English speaking, friendly staff. more
