Probably the best pizza place in Munich, the nice Italian greeting as soon as you walk into the place makes you feel in Sicily, well sort of. I visited Riva on a Saturday evening and was warmly welcomed. Riva is a casual spot, great for visiting with friends or for a date. The beer was local (and delicious). The pizza was as similar as I've had to real Italian pizza outside of Italy. It really is a great spot - delicious food and very reasonably priced. more
This place has the better pizza than anything I've tasted in North America. Go figure. Nonetheless, not only was it this good, but a pleasent surprise. Definintely a must. more
We cannot say enough about how wonderful the pizza is at Riva Bar. Our service was excellent and they were very accomidating with getting us menus in English. Try the pizza with duck and truffle sauce. DELICIOUS. more

Not always typically Italien pizza, but very creative and delicious styles, like carpaccio topping with truffles or pears with gorgonzola. Yummy! more
