This place is full of life! I ve visited Munich four times, and everytime I go there just for the experience. Full of energy, fun and bier it could be easily told a tourist trap, but everybody loves it! You will find Japanese, Europeans, Americans and just a few Germans in there. We love this place, good food, good drink, fantastic atmosphere at a reasonable price. People watching is really funny. Such a cross section of locals, tourists, old and young, it's fantastic. It is particularly funny to see Australlian he-men not handling their beer. If you are ever in Munich don't miss this. more

The place where Adolf Hitler once used to drink and ruminate over beer and give political speeches is now overrun by American tourists singing German and American drinking songs. I went to the Hofbrauhaus in Munich during the 2006 world cup prior to the Australia vs Brazil game.
